help - how to group 4 main categories into 4 single vertical columns?

Hi,

if anyone knows the answer to this that would be great. or if there is a module out there already...

 

I have 4 main product categories.

 

And say 3 products in each of those 4 categories, eg 12 products in total.

 

When someone clicks Products in the live shop, i want to display those 12 products grouped in vertical columns depending on which category they are from.

 

like the screen shot attached...
