Categories dissapear on categories block

Hi there,

 

I've been looking for a solution to my problem all over the forums but haven't found anything useful. The problem is that when I open many products, most likely in the 4th category level, all the sudden the categories dissapear from the categories block. For instance, on this product . It happens to me on every browser. Some posts on the forum related to an infected installation but I checked mine and it is not, so its gotta be something else.

 

Checking the code, i get a <ul class="tree dhtml" style="display: none;" > which I don't understand.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
