Product List in GRID view

Hello

 

i could use some help.

I've found this solution for products in Grid view on this forum (see attached file).

It seemed to work fine, in Firefox that is. But when i looked at my shop in internet explorer

it was a mess (see attachment). What is wrong with the css which i included ?

Can someone tell me please what i should change to make this work in all browsers ?

And with this i can see 3 products in a row but i would like to see 4 ???

 

Yes i do know that there are modules available but i don't get them to work properly as well.

And for the experts i am an old fossile who used to work with Frontpage so go easy on me.

Css is not my cup of tea.

 

Suggestions anyone ?

By the way i made sure that the original product-list.tpl was restored.

jhnstcks, is this usefull ?

 

And if so how can i change to work on all browers with 4 rows. Like i posted before it works really great on Opera browser but doesn't function on the internet explorer .... that is the text is shifted .. see attached files liked i've posted before.

Not surprised it doesn't work properly if its just a hack of the featured products.
