Product Images don't show after upgrade to 1.4.7.3

I recently upgraded to 1.4.7.3 and everything went well except for the fact that I cant see any product images in the backoffice or frontoffice.

 

I have tried to set the img folder to 777, still didnt work.

 

I tried a new .htaccess didnt work either.

 

When I try to regenerate the images I get the following message:

 

Cannot write "No picture" image to (suppliers) images folder. Please check the folder's writing permissios
