missing order?

I received a confirmation email about an order, I went to the back-end to save the invoice, but the order is not in the order list. I checked the database, the order is in ps_order_details, but not the ps_orders... so I was wondering if anybody may be able to shed some light on possible causes and/or solutions.

What version are you using? What payment module were used to pay the order?

 

I had this issue on a 1.3.x PrestaShop installation with the PayPal module (the version which were included in the PrestaShop version). This happened because the IPN sent a request that the PayPal module wasn't configured to handle, so the order wasn't validated correctly which resulted in the order not showing up on the orders page.

 

How did I solve this? I updated the PayPal module myself (now you should try downloading the latest version instead) to be able to handle such "faulty" IPN's in the future and I manually validated the order with some PHP scripting.
