Bug Or Virus?

Hi Friends,

 

I am monitoring my site using Google analytic's tool. I found that someone is visiting from below url to my site.

 

localhost:4446 | /selenium-server/core/Blank.html

 

When I checked the above link it shows can't find server. So can anyone tell me what exactly is this?

Is it happening often or just once?

 

I'm not sure what Selenium is, read more about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selenium_%28software%29

 

But I would say, it's nothing to worry about. It's just the URL from where the user came to your site.

 

localhost - This leads to your own machine. If you type in http://localhost/ in your browser, you're trying to access your own machine. This will work only if you are running a web server on your machine.

 

It seems like someone is running this Selenium server stuff (which I don't know what it is) and through that clicking into your site.

The ip location is of amazon.com

 

They are running such kind of servers .

Here is one ip 23.23.66.219 from which they are visiting to our site.
