[SOLVED] Product comments won't install

Hi,

 

I am having a problem installing the product comment module. All other modules work, but with the product comments I get an error when trying to install:

 

The following module(s) were not installed properly:

• productcomments
  

Since I am able to install all other modules, I cannot seem to figure out what the problem is.

I created the database manually and updated the database tables to InnoDB and then it worked.

Would not load for me so went to database removed the appropriate product comment tables and then resinstalled the module and that worked for me...

By the way can someone point to us which tables we have to 'clean'?

glozinski Can you tell us the tables we have to clean?

Go to your database look for table product_comments drop table ps_product_comment.  Then try and reinstall.  You might have to drop all of the product comment tables but it will show you which tables cannot be reproduced so just keep dropping until you have all the necessary tables dropped.  Hope this helps
