Store decided to Stop progressing through orders

Recommended Posts

First off let me tell you everything I have done and have issues with to this point...

Heres what happened and im ready to give up this have been a week long project of setbacks...

1. I finally get the cart to connect to my database ( on a godaddy / linux / php5 server ) after 2 days of trying no apparent reason why it shouldnt every setting was right...

2. start setting it up, but control panels are not very intuitive and clunky take hours to find things to edit pages..

3. Paypal module flat REFUSED to setup for 2 days. then out of the blue starts working, no settings were changed..

4. USPS module flat REFUSED to setup even with correct settings kept giving web services ( which was on and htaccess.txt was generated ). In utter frustration I switched to the UPS

5. UPS module Which setup the first time no problem BUT

Now the cart will not load when you make an order, It will add item to the cart, show you shipping and cost but when you click checkout it gives an error...

"Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete."

6. Tried to sign up for your forums but there is no clear cut answer on how to fix this ...

I tried going to Back Office separator_breadcrum.png Preferences separator_breadcrum.png SEO & URLs

and turning off Automatically redirect to Canonical url, but with no success....

I have invested 7 days and nights into this, which should have bee more than enough time and its one problem after another...

PLEASE HELP anyone

One thing I do not know if you took into account on things mysteriously working is Prestashops compile and cache settings. I always leave them off until the sites I develop become "live" for the public. Those would be under the Preferences>> Performance.

Do you have ssl enabled on your site?

Featured products? It is under the Modules tap and got to Front Office in the list, and enable featured products if it is not enabled. Then go to positions under module and select transplant. Select featured products and transplant it to Home page content
