I've managed to put the checkout button into the blockuserinfo module with help from the forum-Thanks! Now what I am trying to do is add some sort of show/hide function to the checkout button to make the checkout button 'SHOW' when someone add item(s) to the cart and 'HIDE' when nothing is in the cart or someone empties the cart, without the page having to be refreshed...
