Changing the contact form

I'm trying to change the contact form on my shop heres a picture of how it is now ;

 

 

I've been trying for about an hour to remove the "subject heading title and box" and change it to a box which looks like the others with the title "name"

 

Can anyone help me, I can post the current .tpl file code if needed

have you change the .tpl? if yes, have you re-compiled it?

 

If you remove the 'subject' select-box you will need to change ContactController.php too.

Yeah I did recompile it but I was only changing the .tpl file.

 

What do I need to change in the ContactController.php file?

Because it creates a new instance of the Contact class according to the subject you select from contact form. So, if you have no subject the email will not be sent to any email address.
