Multiple Issues After Upgrade to 1.4.7

I have been able to solve several issues after upgrading to 1.4.7, but I still have several issues. I have been all over the forums looking for answers, and I have tried many suggested fixes, but these issues still remain:

 

1. Several modules are not listed in back office. Block Payment Logo, Loyalty Points are two examples. The folders are in my files, but I can't configure them in the back office.

 

2. No modules are listed in the Positions tab in the back office. I want to put the Featured Products block below my home text, but nothing is showing on my positions screen.

 

3. Theme installer does not work.

 

4. Cannot delete products or change quantity of products in shopping cart. I have tried several suggested fixes for this problem, but nothing has helped.

 

5. "Combine, Compress & Cache" warning on home page of back office.

 

It was suggested that I contact my host (Hostgator) to have my memory increased. I did this and they set it to the maximum allowed for my account type, but it didn't help.
