Packs : Attributes and variations

We just test the 1.5.0.3 beta and we see a big problem with products packaged of product with variations: when we want to add a product packaged in the cart, not possible to choose a variation of the product package (for example, size, color ...).... quite annoying!

 

At worst, it is not even possible, at the time of the creation of the pack in BO, to choose the variation of the product that we want to put in the pack: it is necessarily the variation that is selected by default ... So it's not manageable ...

 

In addition, if you create a pack directly, impossible to buy it because the stock is automatically at 0! It should affect the stock of the pack on the stocks of the products contained in the pack, right?? Yet it has already been done by the community (see http://addons.prestashop.com/fr/merchandizing/1015-advanced-pack-4.html) ... but I think it should already be included in the basic version, because it seems really quite logical and inevitable.

 

These cases are not exceptions, we have already had two customers seeking this type of operation.

It should perhaps do something about it?! Because the management of packs is totally impossible ...

Nous venons de tester la 1.5.0.3 beta et nous constatons un gros problème avec les produits packagés de produits avec déclinaisons : lorsqu'on souhaite ajouter un produit packagé à son panier, pas possible de choisir une déclinaison des produits du pack (par exemple, taille, couleur...).... assez gênant !

 

Au pire, il n'est même pas possible, au moment de la création du pack, de choisir la déclinaison du produit qu'on souhaite mettre dans le pack : c'est forcément la déclinaison par défaut qui est choisie... Donc c'est pas gérable...

 

De plus, si l'on crée un pack directement, impossible de l'acheter car le stock est à 0 !!! Il faudrait répercuter le stock du pack sur les stocks des produits contenus dans le pack, non ??? ça a pourtant déjà été fait par la communauté (cf http://addons.presta...ced-pack-4.html)... mais je pense que ça devrait être déjà inclus dans la version de base, parce que ça nous semble quand même assez logique et inévitable.

 

Ces cas de figure ne sont pas des exceptions, nous avons déjà eu 2 clients demandeurs sur ce type de fonctionnement.

Il faudrait peut-être y faire quelque chose ?! Parce qu esinon la gestion des packs est complètement impossible...

Just did a test in version 1.6 and you can add to a pack products that have combinations however, you still cannot choose a particular combination... only the entire product with... so if a medium size dress for example is the item of choice in the pack, PS 1.6 still falls short.
