.csv import problem with non latin letters

Hello everyone,
I recently decided to use Presta Shop as a base for my shop as it was spoken very highly of. All the configuration etc ran smoothly 'till the moment I started to add goods to my store via .csv

the .csv file is simple - just cat. id, name, product code, and 3 prices

14;"Lakier Glamour maskujący róż";"10ml";"GC-FM-207-10";10;9.5;8.2

uploading the file is ok, then presta shop displays the content of the .csv properly, but when I set the fields right and click on import I receive error that the product cannot be saved :/

I tried using commas as a separator and triple checked the file encoding - UTF-8

the problem occurs only when trying to use polsih specyfic letters as: ą ę ż ź ć ś ń ł ó

Can anyone please help me

Wish I could help you...we have the same problem except that we are using scandinavian lettes ÖÄÅ. If these are used import does not work.

this issue has been fixed by my programmer, I believe he had to tamper with the admin module and the encoding to get this done - it cost me a pretty penny but it works now:). If you like just drop me a line to [email protected] and I'll try to localize the changed files and email them to you.
