m-tias Posted December 5, 2011 Share Posted December 5, 2011 It seems like my prestashop suddenly changed its mind and decided not to send any notifying e-mails anymore, at least to the guys running the shop. No e-mail is sent to the specified contact when an order is made nor when a customer sends a message via the contact form. Customers still gets the confirmation e-mails though. E-mails are sent using given SMTP parameters. This problem started in version 1.4.3 and still going strong after I've updated to 1.4.6.2. Any ideas? The e-mails about new orders actually came from the payment service. Correct me if I'm wrong, the shop should send an e-mail when there's an order, right? Carolina Custom Designs Posted December 5, 2011 Share Posted December 5, 2011 Check and make sure you have installed the 'Mail Alerts' module. I thought I remembered from an earlier setup of PS that I didn't have to make an active choice whether the shop would send mail alerts or not. I remembered wrong. Thank you!
