Problems with out of stock text

Hello all,

 

The out-of-stock text feature (which is added in the 'Displayed text when allowed to be back-ordered' box on product info pages) doesn't appear on my front end product pages: www.cozibag.co.uk.

 

The message will flash up for a split second before disappearing, so customers can order products without being an item is out of stock (I've disabled out-of-stock ordering for the time being).

 

I assume this must be something to do with having a colour picker box but I have no idea what....Anybody have any ideas?
