CharlotteCeramics
I can't find this anywhere in the back office or in any of the modules to edit the commitment screen - the bit that comes up when you click to go the the checkout with displayed info such as contact, secure payments, delivery, etc. Can anyone help? I'm using the Matrice theme and have been unable to edit some elements of my store such as the home text editor and the slideshow images due to the theme - my developer has had to do this for me as I don't have access to the main installation of Prestashop. I'm wondering if this is something that can only be edited in this way also?

tomerg3
Unless you want to limit yourself to getting help only from people that have that theme, I suggest you posta link to your site, and a screenshot of the exact place you want to edit (I'm not sure what "commitment screen" means)
CharlotteCeramics
Sorry, here's an image of the "commitment screen" which comes up during the order steps - I need to change contact info in this section. I know it says how to edit the content above but I can't find themes/matrice/order steps anywhere in my back office. Is it something that my developer will need to edit? Any instructions anyone can give to try will be gratefully appreciated.
tomerg3
it should be editable in the backoffice translation page, are you sure you checked there thoroughly?
CharlotteCeramics
I found the section where I edit this screen under translations, but when I type the preferred text that I would like to appear instead of the default text, an error comes up saying "Cannot write language file"
tomerg3
Looks like the folder / file permissions are incorrect in your server, or possibly even worse, the host is not set up with proper owner / group permissions. A properly configured server should have 755 permissions on all folders, which would allow writing to files from the backoffice.
