Great number of site visits from China

In the past two days, we have received relatively great numbers of site visits from China (113.118.185.113 and 183.12.0.193) on our website www.gegshop.nl. As far as we can see, everything still works fine, but we were wondering if we should worry about it?

What are they doing no our website, why do they visit it 30 times in a row, with only a second (probably less) in between? Any ideas, suggestions and comments are welcome.

You can turn on Geolocation to block China from entering your site.

Is Geolocation only for v4.X?

In your case I can't the your visitors aer human. My suggestion is that block the 2 IP address in .htaccess file. Hope it helps.

it would be interesting to see what your statistics page says under 404 - site not reachable (if that module is activated). I see extremely creative approaches to check where my admin folder is and funny requests to run unknown skripts and setup.php files. veeery nice. just posted about this in another forum and the moderator recommended something like this: http://www.projecthoneypot.org/. I am checking this out myself right now but may go for it as I feel little unsecure with all these hack attempts.
