You should change it, the pattern is not really a pattern and you can see exactly where the repeating image start and end. Also the logo and the links doesnt look good on that backgroung. I guess you've noticed the broken search. All these elements combined together make a bad looking header. Why did you put so many brakes in the footer to separate the directory backlinks ? just arrange them nicely and integrate them in the actual footer. Its a good idea to make a cms page called "partners" or something like that, and put all these liks and mini banners there.
