Hello,

 

 

My website suffers a code error after editing an image in the header template. I work with prestashop 1.4.4 and bought a theme from RSI systems (sweet baby theme).

Everthing worked perfect untill I changed the menu HEADER.img image to another color and also the CART img.

After updating the layout completly changed.

I suppose there is an error in the header.tmp but i am quiet new in this material...

 

I tried to get in cotact with RSI systems but there is no anwser.

Hello david,

 

Do not know what file you edited ?

Did you edit the global.css ?

 

When did you contact RSI ? if you contacted them today then you must give them the chance to reply back to you.

They have a lot off customers and they are normally pretty fast with replying on emails.

 

Why not replace the file you messed up with the correct one again and then let us know what you exactly want so that we can see what needs to be done.

Hallo ysco,

 

Thankx for replying so fast ! In the IMG file I edited the Cart.png and menu.png. (Ididnt change much, just color and little efect with the same png extension and litlle change in kb

. In the global css I didnt change anything. Honestly i am quit a beginner so I dont touch what I dont know...

 

I had contact with them about this problem 2 weeks ago and they asked my ftp account ,but the answered me (after sending my FTP pasword) that the FTP didnt show all the files. I checked this with my hoster and they confirmed. They recommand to change the FTP or give the CPANEL access of my website to them wich I provided 2 weeks ago. but no aswer came sofar.

 

I replaced the fileto the original that messed up the layout , the original img came back but the layout failed again.

Because these days I am putting the last work to the website to open it officialy so would be nice to start with a nice layout.

At this moment in the layout is missing the logo, sitemap icon, contact us icon

.further : the header menu bar went to the left site and the white (dont know the offilcial name) middle background is mising, just appears in the footer. Also the cart.png went to the right side instead of being in middle top of the header.

 

I did also the force comp. settings and refreshed the cash after editing.

Hallo daviddive007,

 

Toevallig kom ik je thread weer tegen, follow thead werkt nog steeds niet naar behoren en krijg bijna nooit een email melding wanneer er weer gereageerd is op een thread.

 

Maar fijn om te horen dat het probleem verholpen is, heb je het zelf nu gedaan of heb Shacker het gedaan van RSI ?

Ik ken Shacker all een tijd en de service is normaal altijd goed van ze.

 

Als je probleem is opgelost dan graag even in de topic <solved> toevoegen ;)
