cant create new account or login to checkout [solved]

hi just upgraded latest version, i am trying to checkout, i type in email and password and the page just reloads and does nothing

 

also same happens if i click to create new account, page reloads and nothing

 

 

please help!

ok it must have been the theme (edits to the theme) even though i was using original prestashop theme, i had made some edits to the code, i reverted to the prestashop theme (after new install) and just made the edits again and now it works!
