Briandh76
I have my store all setup and ready to go, however I am running into an issue with the shipping module. When you go to to the cart for the shipping estimate it says there is no valid carrier. However if I log in and go to the actual check out it puts the pricing in. It's way low but it puts in shipping. Any ideas on this issue? And any ideas on how to get the correct shipping costs?
oxyweb
Hi, In the shipping > carriers tab check that there is at least one carrier that is enabled and is available to zones e.g. Americas/Europe/etc In the shipping > Price ranges and Weight Ranges section make sure you have at least one zone setup for a carrier e.g. $0.00 to $99999 In the Shipping > Carriers tab make sure that right at the bottom of the page you select one carrier and setup a price if need be. Briandh76
The shipping is working but you have to be logged in for it to work. My issue is you cannot see the shipping unless you sign in first. On top of that it is calculating the shipping wrong. I think on some items it's too low. IE: 150lbs item to ship from Ohio to California shows up as $53.00.
Briandh76
Ok let me rephrase this question. It appears that the shipping rates are ok for the smaller items. It's just the the bigger items like hoods and fenders that I am having an issue with. Is there any way to force certain items to use only a certain carrier? IE: I want hoods to be only truck freight only which has set price no matter where it goes. But on checkout it gives you the option of ground or truck freight I set the weight restrictions but it still shows up. One other question there are items that are not heavy just big and has to be shipped truck freight also. How would I force those to goto truck freight?
