gdinari
Ok something *weird* happened. The other day I was backing up my database (using the admin tool) and after backing up I didnt really pay attention to the categories, as I always expect them to not be effected. Ironically, the very thing thats supposed to save my data has erased my data! My client called me and asked me what happened to one of the categories. I didnt have answer for her because I didnt know what happened myself. I investigated the problem and remembered that this happened after around the time I backed up the database. I also noticed that although the category was gone, the products were still there. Now I can easily just create the missing category, but the problem I have is link the existing products back to it. I have over 150 products that belong to that category and it would be tedious to manually match them through the admin or through a database manager. I dont want to have to manually link the products again. Does anyone have a solution or advice for this? Thanks gdinari
