How To - Sub Categories Always Visible?

I am building a furniture store and have the following categories/subcategories . There are more, but here is an example:

 

 

Browse by Room

Lounge

Dining Room

Home Office

 

Browse by Item

Bathroom Cabinets

Bookcases

Coffee Tables

Desks

Dining Chairs

Dining Tables

 

Browse By Range

Range 1

Range 2

Range 3

Range 4

 

Currently to see the subcategories, you need to click on the + sign, but I would like to have them permanently visible. Does anyone know how to do this?

 

Is it possible to have multiple category blocks, or would this cause more problems than it solves?

Hi,

 

Yes, go to the Categories block > Configure and switch off Dynamic Mode and ensure the max depth is set to 2. Might need to Force Recompile (Preferences > Performance)

My categories block is stuck displaying all categories without the +.

The dynamic function seems no longer to come on.
