Dave L
Hi, I have just upgraded a site from 1.2.5 to 1.4.4.1 When viewing a category on the previous site there were 4 subcategory thumbnails per row. In the new version there are 5 subcategories per row. The problem is there is no space between the images which is unsightly. How can I change the number of subcategories per row. Thanks. Edit: After hours of searching the forum for the answer and just a couple of minutes after posting I found my answer. Just changed the margin in category.css
oxyweb
I don't know how you would\could do it from the back office as the category loop doesn't mention any counting (afaik). Might be considered a bit cheeky but have you thought about amending the css margin property for: ' body#category #subcategories li ' to something greater that way the 5 sub category would drop down. Hi oxyweb I've actually just figured it and edited the post above. You are correct though but it was the category.css file that I edited. Thanks. oxyweb
Yes master! I'm still learning a lot but I think I've fallen in love with PrestaShop. I just find it to be very configurable and although the community is not as large as say OSCommerce I think it's very easy going so I'm trying to help where I can... even if I am either making asusmptions or stating the obvious Thanks
Dave L
It's good that you are contributing to the forum. I often find that a suggestion by one person can lead you down a path towards a solution. So any contribution to a topic is helpful. I also think prestashop is brilliant and improving for the greater good with every release. I'm not sure about this V1.5 that's coming but I thought that about V1.4 when I resisted upgrading from V1.37 for a good while. I now think V1.4+ is just brilliant. The prestashop forum has proved very helpful with the learning curve. I do think though that the devs could, and should have spent more time actively contributing. There was a couple of years where pulling teeth easier than finding support. The users have been great though. There are some good, knowledgeable people out there that are only too happy to help us minions. Thanks.
