TechDragon12
Hi, this is my first time posting so I want to say that Prestashop is a cool cart system. Thanks for the effort in creating it! Now, on to the problem. I have been going around in circles for days trying to get the FedEx Carrier module configured. After trying both test and production keys multiple times in different configurations, I keep getting the same message. Prestashop could not connect to web services: No error description found. I have all the details, but FedEx is discontinuing it's API connection for webservices... So how do I get it connected properly? Thanks,
Muller
I'm getting this error: Prestashop could not connect to FEDEX webservices :Fedex Webservice seems to be down, please wait a few minutes and try again. If I change any of the four fields I get an authentication error, or that the account and meter are inconsistent. This is still unresolved for days. Any ideas? alexwall77
Hello, I just wanted to chime in and say I'm having the same issue. I do not believe the Fedex API is supported any longer by FedEx. The shipping module will have to be rewritten.
TechDragon12
Is there a way to get around this? I don't know of any other way to get this configured. It is holding up getting the store into a production environment.
tomerg3
Fedex is still using API keys, they are not using it for a couple of webservices calls, but they are still issuing API keys, and those are using for all their API calls (rate lookup, tracking etc...) Make sure that the keys you entered are correct. You can also check out our Fedex module http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/65476-module-fedex-get-real-time-shipping-rates-from-fedex-with-shipping-preview-on-the-product-page/ which comes with free installation support (as do all out modules).
