I already have multiple categories and products imported via .csv files on my Front Office. However, I now want to add a new category and move some of the products to this category. I just want to make sure before I make a mistake, whether, as I am using the same file and therefore the same ID's for the products, I need to check the box "Delete all categories before import" / "Delete all products before import"? Or since I am using the same ID's they will just get updated and not duplicated. Your help is much appreciated. Happy P.O.E.T.S day. Wilmo Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Fabien Serny Posted September 9, 2011 Share Posted September 9, 2011 If you have the ID in your csv file, it will update your products and categories (and not duplicate it). If a problem occured, you could still reimport it and choose "Delete all before import" If you want to have a security, back up your db Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
