Prestashop Auto Update

Hi guys,

 

here all working good with 5 1.4.4.0 shop. They were all previously on the 1.3.7. Hand upgrade and themes re-adapting was hard work but now all works fine.

 

Today I tried to update one to 1.4.4.1 using the tool developed by eric and micheal. All seems to have been completed, but honestly i ve no clue that file modification have been done.

 

Is normal that the settings.inc.php after all finishes still show

 

define('_PS_VERSION_', '1.4.4.0');

 

i had to mod it by my own to let the tool understand i had done the update.

 

All ended with "All sample files removed. Now backup files". I think this is the message which warns about the ending of the procedure. Is that true?

 

if it's ok than I own you all very much, it's a big tool which hardly simplify the hand made update procedure.
