FitDeck.dk Posted August 26, 2011 Share Posted August 26, 2011 Hi, Like many others my Prestashop 1.4.4.0 got hacked the other day. I ran the fix and everything look ok afterwards. But at the same time Essentials antivirus warned that i had a virus on my PC. I removed it. But the virus or malware keeps coming back. It has disabled my internet connection and messed ud my harddisk. When i go to my Prestashop backoffice dir a warning comes up saying that the site is infected. A wordpress blog i have on a subdomaine also gave the warning, but it dissapeared after i updated WP. I have newer had a virus peneltrate my antivirus and firewall in 3 or 4 years, so the quastion is, is it coinsidence, that Prestashop get hacked and I got hit by alot of virus and malware targeting my webhotel - on the same evening? EDIT: Uninstalled Essentials and boughed Norton 360. It removed the virus, which apperantly didnt have anythink to do with the hack. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
