Customizing categories output

Hello all!

 

Reviewed a bunch of topics related to the display of categories, but have not found a solution to my problem.

 

That's actually a question: when you click on the link "categories" you see a list of subcategories from HOME category with pictures (as in the first attached picture).

 

Tell me ,please, what i need to insert or edit in templates to display the list of child categories (subcategories)near the picture and the category name, much like the second picture? How can i display subcategories there?

 

I tried to display the tree of categories by using this code

 

{foreach from=$blockCategTree.children item=child name=blockCategTree}
               {include file=$branche_tpl_path node=$child}
   {/foreach}

but i can`t do nothing with that list

My Prestashop version is 1.4.1
