Search in center column ? (liкe in the Alt theme)

Hello,

I'm using modified version of the default template in one of my sites, and I want to integrate search in the center column.

 

I tried to use the module from the prestashop_alt theme, but it doesn't show up.

I have copied the css files, so thats not the problem. Force compile is turned on, but still, nothing show up.

 

What am I missing ? I need only to see part of the module just showing up in the center column then I'll be able to work it all out.

 

Or maybe there is other way of integrating search in center column ?
