How to get back the data after a fresh upgrade to v1.4 ?

Hi,

I made a database saving of my shop built with Prestashop 1.3.
Such saving was made as a zipped .bz2 file (or as un unzipped .sql file)

Then, I made a fresh install of Prestahop 1.4. When installing I had to create a new database.

Currently, I do not know what is the best way to get back the old web shop data.

Do I need :

- either to import the old data base from Prestashop admin >Administration panel >Tools> Import ?

- or, from phpMyAdmin, to import the old data in the new database ?
