[Solved] CSV Import Description: Importing Description With Spaces As Entered Into The Cells

I am currently using version 1.4.3 Prestashop.

I am attempting to importing 1500 products with CSV format, and I am running to an issue. I am trying to do multiple line entries like how I inserted the description into the cells.

For example:


Cell A4 Excel Entry:

Product Description:
The headlights are sold in pairs (both left& right).

Fitment:
2008 Audi R6






After importing into Prestashop:
Product Description:The headlights are sold in pairs (both left& right). Fitment: 2008 Audi R6




Can someone please assist me with this issue, thank you in advance.

I have figured out you can use HTML coding to achieve this in a CSV file. Now I am encountering another problem.

The issue is, when importing in the CSV file with the HTML description it cuts off at 1650 characters.

Is it possible to extend it to over 1650 characters? Thank you.

This is an issue I have been trying to solve as well. I believe there is a line that limits it but I am yet to find it either. I would also like to know how to add the extra lines without br-ing it.
