Cart Block Problem When Hooked to Left Column

Hi there!

Previously the cart was hooked on the right column. I tried to make order and the cart got emptied after completing payment via cheque module. It is working as intended.

Then, I unhooked the cart from the right column and hook it to left column. Again I tried to make order and complete payment with the same method but the cart didn't get emptied. Only the last product in the cart got removed.

Could anyone please enlighten me regarding this issue? By the way, I'm using version 1.4.1.0.
