Core hack > Add extra HTML field to product information

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a way to add an extra HTML field to the catalog section, underneath the ' description' and 'short_description' HTML fields. I was looking for a way to add HTML functionality to features-fields, but that doesn't work since because of the DB-structure the fields cannot be larger than 255 in size.

I was wondering; is there a way to add an additional HTML field to a product? If so, how can this be achieved? I'm a PHP programmer so I'm not completely unfamiliar to programming (although I'm a newbie to prestashop). Thanks!
