I myself have just sorted out a nice theme for 1.4.2, but then on reading the manual for the 1.4.3 theme I've become aware that the work I've done on the previous version theme (1.4.2) appears to be nulled out.So with regard to this, Mr Atch has posted a very informative post, so I thought I would place a link to it for the English speaking lot so everyone is aware... You may need to use google translate or something to read it, but please take not of this issue. I'm sure if anyones like me, a few days redesigning a theme, only to have to do it all again, is bloody annoying!
