Shipping rates based on distance/postcode

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I am in Australia, I need something that could est a shipping cost based on distance or postcode. If anyone have a module doing this job, or any modifications?

OR, I have made a tiny web app in ASP.net, it gets distance between the warehouse and customer's postcode and calculates charges by using Google Maps. If it is possible to integrate it into PrestaShop?

THANK YOU!

(ps. Hi PrestaShop, I think thousands of people are sharing my headache. It is the most common way that used in AU to calculate delivery charges. Could you please add this feature in next release? Thank you! :-) )

We are in the final stages of a new Localized shipping module, which can have shipping rates (based on weight or price ranges) per country, state, or postcode (ranges).

It includes a product pages rates preview, as well as a block cart preview, with the ability to change the default carrier (similar to our UPS module at http://144ups.presto-changeo.com/ )

IF you are interested in beta testing it, contact us using https://www.presto-changeo.com/en/contact_us

is this module working and I am looking for a module that can do as you have stated but i also need it to be able to work for our heaver products that are sent on pallets in which case i would need to be able to have a drop box or something on that product page so people can enter there postcode and a shipping price for that product being shipped to that postcode will be given and ity will add the same shipping cost for each and every additional products that are shipped this way. i will happily pay this module as at the moment i am unable to send such products.
