Delete photos easily and directly.

Hello friends!

I didn't like how PrestaShop 9 handles deleting photos from the product catalog.

Instead of having a direct delete button on the image, PrestaShop opens a sidebar.

Does anyone know of a module to delete photos directly?

In PrestaShop 8/9 there isn’t a “one-click delete” button directly on each image thumbnail in the product page. The normal way is:

• Edit product → Images
• Click the image → it opens the right sidebar
• Click Delete there

So it’s “by design” in the new UI.

✅ If you want to delete many images faster:

• You can select multiple images (checkbox) and delete (depending on the PS version/theme UI),
• Or use a module like an Image Manager / Bulk image delete (as someone suggested).

⚠️ I would avoid deleting images directly from FTP unless you also remove the database records, otherwise you can end up with broken image references.
