Andy C Posted November 17 Share Posted November 17 Don't know if anyone can help. But last night I was trying to update my theme. V8.2 I changed the name to slightly(lets just say the name was abcd),to abcd.old which it did. So now my website is down, I then tried to change the updated version (abcd1) to abcd. It didn't change it 's name but it brought out a error saying the folder already existed (abcd).... But if I looked in the folder it was empty.. The only way I could get my site working again was to export all files to my desktop and upload them into the correct folder.. I have a video I will try and upload later Hosting site said it was nothing to do with them and have never had thsi issue in 11 years Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Andy C Posted November 18 Author Share Posted November 18 yeah I have.. Although I may have found the issue... Looked in the theme & SEO tab in Admin and I have duplicates of themes showing.. I tried to delete 1 the - new upload and there were errors after and no themes. Ended up doing a SQL restore and loading files back into correct folder via ftp..
