Geolocation not working on Prestashop 8.1.3

Geolocation is not working on my Prestashop 8.1.3. I want to show different prices to different countrys on my shop, but is not detecting with country is the client coming from, i have my geolocation turned on 

I uploaded the mmdb file from maxmind of geoip but is not working, I want to use the Country file but it dont work only the City file, i read some forums of this error in this version 8.1.3, i dont know what to do to make this work. Thanks

I have similar issue on 8.1.1, have proper, updated version of maxmind. Seting countries to be blocked / allowed but it not working as is should. Like not detecting the settings. I.e Poland it set as allowed but when geo is enabled my countries are blocked as well. ( on 8.2 with same settings, file it working fine )

So i just need to update to 8.2 and probably it will work?

I have 8.1.1 edition version, so i use server side option for geoip. On other store its working fine on 8.2. So you could tried. ( make a backup )

Ok i see, i dont feel comfortable trying to update the version i dont want to screw up all my shop right now (im a little bit new to this) but thanks for the help anyways, now i know is a version problem, thanks.

also when testing, you need to open a new incognito window, geo location only set's visitor cookie country if empty.

or you can use my module written originally for 1.4 but supports ps8 as well
