jaume36
A few days ago, we tried to update PrestaShop from version 9.0.0 to 9.0.1. Errors appeared: /xxxx/httpdocs/modules/autoupgrade/classes/Task/Update/UpdateFiles.php line 166 - is_file(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/phpstan-disallowed-calls.neon) is not within the allowed path(s): (xxxxx/:/tmp/:/usr/share/php/:/var/www/vhosts/system/xxxxxx/opcache/) Zend OPCACHE is active on the server. After several errors like this: /xxxxx/httpdocs/modules/autoupgrade/classes/UpgradeTools/CoreConsoleExecutable.php line 74 - Symfony\Component\ErrorHandler\Error\UndefinedFunctionError: Attempted to call function "exec" from namespace "PrestaShop\Module\AutoUpgrade\UpgradeTools". #1 /xxxxxx/modules/autoupgrade/classes/UpgradeTools/CoreUpgrader/CoreUpgrader.php(890): PrestaShop\Module\AutoUpgrade\UpgradeTools\CoreConsoleExecutable->callCommand('assets:install ...') Up to six errors like this. I restored the backup and waited a few days. Today I noticed some module updates: Update Assistant v7.4.1 to v7.4.2 PrestaShop Checkout v9.5.0.4 to v9.5.0.5 PrestaShop Marketplace in your Back Office v5.1.0 to v5.2.0 I mean, now it's mine. I'll try again... Same result. Unable to update. After consulting with the hosting service, they say everything is fine. It doesn't seem like a server issue. Although a 500 error (server) also appears in the Update Assistant error report.
Fabry
Hi, i've already updated 3 Prestashops shops 9.0 to 9.0.1 in 2 different vps ( Scalahosting and OVH). I found out some initial problems during configuration phase of the module. So i think for best result you have to update all modules in the platform before upgrade ps, disable all non default modules... than uninstall update 7.4.1/7.4.2 assistent module and reinstall it...clean all cache in the platform. Then go to configuration of the module...prepare all file of ps 9.0.1 unzipped in download folder and don't set backup in the module...make a manual backup..... check that all files, modules and database have green message during the process...It can happen that you receive an error message in last lines but it doesn't matter..it's related to cache. Clean cache and test the shop. For me it worked fine. php 8.2 fpm served by apache 2gb ram and 2 cpu and some optimization in Plesk in one vps ciao

I've done everything, I'm just missing the last part: manual installation. In this case, I need to unzip it to the download folder. How would the installation look on the server? A folder named Prestashop with all the files inside?
Fabry
Ok, you have to upload prestashop 9.0.1 zip file in download folder and unzip it. After this you will see all prestashop folders there...admin-api..admin..app..etc etc. At this point you can proceed with upgrade.
