Prestapepe
Just read about ChatGPT Shopping and I think we need to have a serious conversation about what this means for our online stores. For Shopify a wining move, for us Prestashop users that means we are dead. You can see what are the motivations of Prestashop... just look arround this post... at the bottom, top and sides of this fotum, all adds. It was qI've spent months optimizing my PrestaShop store with friendly URLs, schema markup, and feeds. But now I see all of that isn't enough if you're not visible in AI.uite a pain and hard to work with an open source plattform but now it is a nosense. We can hang tight and pray but we will be erased by this huge wave that is already over us. Just the ones with the guts to make a move fast enogh will survive. Cheers, Prestapepe
El Patron
shopify and wp have already integrations for chatgpt. migrating ps to shopify using migrator pro works very well 75% of my historical clients have already moved to shopify...the others are in die hard prestashop...but not doing so well to be honest. Fabry
@Prestapepe Hanginging tight is not the way to go....you have to enjoy the AI wave and explore its tools!! It needs lot of time and inclination for new worlds. We are living a revolution that most still don't understand. The jump is lot bigger than last tech revolution and the speed of changing is on steroid. I'm using different AI tools for coding, for GEO ( most of my shops are already in first places in chatgtp searchs..lot of hard work ) and now i started to study integration of our ps in chatGTP as a sale and marketing platform..it needs time and coding, lot of hours to try and explore solutions . But i suggest that as first step you should work on GEO hard because the interaction between humans and search engines has changed a lot...it's changing all and to complicate more Google in september has changed the algo by removing 100 url parameter to contrast AI...this impacted thirdy party tracking tools....( you can see big shift for sure in avg keyword in search console)....it's a war between AI players and main search engines. cheers
Prestapepe
One thing is to enjoy and explore, and another is to be alone in the dark when you are working with PrestaShop. Lack of integrations, lack of basic features that have been demanded for ages, and now this... with PrestaShop, we are out of the game. Maybe something can be developed for the last ones using this platform, but they would just be patches.
