ChatGPT Shopping: “Buy Now” in AI Chat Is Here but not for Prestashop

Just read about ChatGPT Shopping and I think we need to have a serious conversation about what this means for our online stores.

 

For Shopify a wining move, for us Prestashop users that means we are dead.

 

You can see what are the motivations of Prestashop... just look arround this post... at the bottom, top and sides of this fotum, all adds.

 

It was qI've spent months optimizing my PrestaShop store with friendly URLs, schema markup, and feeds. But now I see all of that isn't enough if you're not visible in AI.uite a pain and hard to work with an open source plattform but now it is a nosense.

 

We can hang tight and pray but we will be erased by this huge wave that is already over us.

 

Just the ones with the guts to make a move fast enogh will survive.
