Fortissimo
I only want to offer guest checkout on the store. I removed the options from the checkout page. No password field, no text, no link to the login page. When making an order I only have to fill my first name, last name, and mail address. But.. I get a mail confirming my account creation, I also see a customer in the backend of the store, and I can't order anything again with the same mail address as it's used before. I do like the overview per customer in the backend, I think that one is connected to an account. I don't like the user being logged in by default and the impossibility to reuse an mail address when used for a customer. Or is PS just not the correct store for this kind of options? Daresh
PS is good for this, maybe you missed something. Is the guest checkout turned on in back office?
El Patron
PrestaShop 9.0.0 is the first release to support this. We have our own checkout module that supports this since 2020. It's possible to create a patch for pre prestashop 9 but you would need to provide at 'least' your prestashop version for community to provide help. Fortissimo
Guest checkout is turned on. But the checkout page showed the option to logon and had the password field on that page. I removed those, but now an account without password is created. The user can't order with that same address again without logging in. I'm using 8.2.3 as version 9 doesn't let me log on to the admin pages. I did all changes mentioned for this bug, but it didn't work. I'm waiting for 9.1.
