rhath127
Hi guys, My website keeps going down due to "processes" being overused. I noticed a bandwidth spike which is unusual. Due to this I keep getting the 500 server error. Is there a way to isolate the website to be accessed within Australia only? Thanks R

Knowband Plugins
For PrestaShop Geolocation to work accurately, you need to purchase the MaxMind license. Otherwise, by default, Prestashop uses free IP data of MaxMind, which is not accurate, and you might block actual AUS customers as well (OR other countries' users can also access the site). Go to Backoffice -> International -> Localization -> Geolocation to enable the settings.
Prestashop Addict
Is it a DDOS attack or just aggressive crawling? Are you on a dedicated server?
rhath127
I have implemented Cloudflare as of 36 hours ago - seems to have resolved some issues. I dont know why anyone would want to ddos my site? but it sure feels like it. Hosting provider said that my site was using too many resources - not sure what that means. I am on a shared server - but I might op to move to a dedicated server. I will register for maxmind and see if that helps. I checked cloudflare stats - and it seems from Brazil there was 100k (hits) in the last 7 days. Which is very high from a country I dont service. rhath127
I have also added maxmind to the website and was able to turn on geolocation. I only sell within Australia - so my concern is having the website accessible within australia.
