Prices displayed w/out VAT for some customers

Hi,

I was developing a new version of my site based on PS 8.2. I migrated everything successfully from 1.6

It was on different host.I tried yesterday to delete the old one and move the new one.It was successful, but I had to recover from the back up the old one, because I got a big problem.

For some of the customers the prices displayed w/out VAT.

It happened even before the migration, I thing it was solved, but happened again.

All prices are with VAT, but when I log in with a test customer account and when I add the product to the basked it is w/out VAT.

I created a new customer and everything was correct with VAT. I thought probably during the migration the customers were put in different group with different rules, but no, the new customer and the old one are part of same group.

I need to be 100% sure that if I switch the new site ON it won't happen with other customers, because I can't sell with 20% less.....

open problem customer account and check  that they are assigned to group customer.  I have seen some migration solutions, prestahero for example, where they did not carry over assigned customer group to new shop.  There are of course other things it could be, a bit of a list but start with this check first.
