prestaKar
A pretty simple thing, but i cannot find setting to change it. Im using presta to sell car parts - so i want to make UI clear, because it will cause less misunderstandings. In category page, i have navigation menu (I would also like it to track where user currently is) then i have 'By Car Brands' > 'Toyota' > [model] > [series] (for example gen 1 and gen2) i set the product only to the gen 1 category and other product to gen 2 category. Indeed presta works correctly, and product for gen 1 only appears in gen 1 category/page However if i take step back, to [model] I see both products, although i didnt want them to appear here whatsoever. Is there a way to turn it off? My idea is to create grind view with only categories first, without products (they shouldn'tt appear when you pick brand, model. Only when you finally get to specific and correct model) so the navigation through categories is less troubling for the user. Problem in my eyes is, i think some people would get lost in navigation, or if they cant read well and are going to buy wrong part for their cart. (Basically like in image attached.) Daresh
If the product is assigned only to the lowest category, it should only appear there. If it appears in parent categories, then maybe it's turned on in the "faceted search" module.

El Patron
As mentioned above, using faceted search, which is major feature of PS if best approach.
