Buy Now Pay Later for Prestashop (BNPL)

Yes, I have client with affirm, which has better messaging and on-boarding than paypal pay later and I forget what other he had, but we recommended affirm, works great, messaging should be included at product page and display only when product meets minimum eligibility and of course checkout.  I'm mobile right now not sure if via stripe or stand alone module.

Thank you for the response.

Is Affirm integrated into your clients Prestashop checkout process?

If so - did you purchase an addon module to be able to do this?

Thanks again.

the stripe module has affirm option.  I did minimal search and  did not see a stand alone affirm solution.

Would you know if the Stripe module overrides the Standard Prestashop checkout process?

We use the standard checkout with authorize.net as our payment gateway and accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and Discover.

Would this change?

Thanks!

Once Stripe was introduced, I migrated every existing and new client away from Authorize.net. Stripe is light years ahead—when it launched, it really left Authorize.net flat-footed. I’m sure Authorize.net is working hard to catch up, but honestly, it feels like it’s too late.

Stripe also supports a wide range of payment methods, including Apple Pay and more, making it even more versatile for both merchants and customers.

In my experience, it makes sense to leave Authorize.net behind. I’m not certain how their transaction rates compare these days, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Authorize.net has tried to lower their fees to stay competitive.

Hope this helps!

So the Stripe module does replace the standard Prestashop checkout process?

Would Stripe also be our payment gateway and replace Authorize.Net?

Is there a "Stripe Backoffice" to sign into to manually enter credit cards and manually charge cards?

We do not charge a customer's credit card at order entry time - we "Authorize Only" and then actually charge the credit card when we ship the order.

Can Stripe handle this?

Thanks for all your help!

El Patron - I'm not sure I fully understand how installing the Stribe module would help me.

- Is Stripe in and of itself a credit card? Or does it just offer the different type of payment methods?

- Do you have a Prestashop customer that offers Affirm? If so, can you send me the link to that site?

- would Stripe allow our customers to use standard AMEX, VISA, Mastercard and Discover credit cards?

- would Stripe allow use of Buy Now Pay Later - I spoke to Affirm and they said they currently do not have Affirm for Prestashop sites. Would Stripe handle using Affirm on my Prestashop site?

- Our payment gateway is Authorize.net which is connected to our Merchant Account - would both Authorize.net and our Merchant Account be replaced by Stripe?

Thank you for your help!
