(edit with the Customer Reassurance module) text doesn't go away

Recommended Posts

I've configured and edited the respective pages such as Security etc but (edit with the Customer Reassurance module) text doesn't disappear.

How to fix it?

Hi,

It can be simply deactivated or edited from "Customer Reassurance" module, not editing any page!

Yes, I've figured out that it can be deactivated but that is not what I was looking for. I do want to keep it. I've edited the content of these three blocks on "Customer Reassurance" but it continue to display "(edit with the Customer Reassurance module)"

I want to make (edit with the Customer Reassurance module) disappear, how to do that? See screenshot below

Hi, you have to reset the module and then reinstall it to add back the required content after applying the settings.

I did. I reset module and then reinstalled it. It is now worse. The description text is not saving in the database and it returns to default.

Ok and what made you install the Customer Reassurance" module in the 1st place?
Are you working on the production shop, where you able to pull a back up prior to that adventure?

It is production setup and a fresh install. I ticked all modules which came with default setup to be installed during installation.

look at your modules tpl pages if you find those there.
Download the file before editing. So you have a back up for it.

The description edited from the backend is not saving in database, how does editing tpl file will help? That content comes from database. I understand that I can be able to delete that line in tpl file if it exists but shouldn't this be taking from backend?

The first thing I do with new install?  disable assurance module....

Yes, I know I can disable. I want to keep it, looks useful to me. So I assume there is no fix except hardcode in template file?
