neocomputersuk
I have two prestashop sites the original is running 1.7.8.11 and I am reluctant to upgrade it to 8 due to module compatibility. The other is a newer project and is running pretshop 8, we use this system for our POS (I think this is where the issue mostly lies) Every day we experience issues with huge lag spikes and crashing/timeouts/500 server errors. Besides disabling the modules 1 by 1 is there anything else I can do to try to help remedy the issues and help speed up the site, we generally haven't had these issues on the first site which doesn't have a POS module attached to it and besides this module the two sites use the same template and mostly the same modules. Both sites are on the same type of hosting plan with the same resources and the prestashop 8 has less products, orders and customers. Site 1: https://neocomputers.co.uk Site 2: https://d6den.shop Any help with this is very much appreciated and thank you in advance.

Hello, You can enable the debug mode from the PrestaShop back office, check the errors, and resolve them. No need to disable the modules 1 by 1 Also, you can check the server logs with your host provider. Thanks,
