I’m experiencing several issues since migrating my PrestaShop store from version 1.7.11 to version 8.2.1:

I get errors when trying to add a product to the cart; it always says the cart is empty and does not add the item.

I had a similar issue after upgrading, and it turned out to be caused by an incompatible theme and some outdated modules. Try switching to the default Classic theme and disabling custom modules temporarily. Also, check the browser console and server logs for any errors when adding products to the cart. That should help narrow down the source of the problem.
